Why bring the kids to the zoo, when you can bring the zoo to the kids? Our exhibit gives the young naturalist the opportunity to closely observe reptiles without the need for a bus trip, chaperones or a sack lunch. Field Trips on Wheels is the perfect way to complement your natural science lesson plan for students at any level.
Field Trips on Wheels Foundation, NFP prides itself in making its program available to public and private schools, home schools, scout gatherings and education themed birthday parties or events. Because reptiles are among the hardiest and easiest animals to transport, our exhibit includes representatives from all four modern reptile groups: the chelonians (turtles and tortoises), snakes, lizards and crocodilians.*

Field Trips on Wheels Foundation was founded in 2008 to perform live animal exhibits for school-age children attending classes in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and surrounding areas. Because of their hardiness, reptiles make up the core of the travelling exhibit. But we always try to include other animals whenever possible. The Foundation is fully insured, and a registrant can be named as an “additional insured” for a small fee. |

Our program is largely driven by questions from the audience; however our presenters make an effort to discuss the relationship between each animal and its environment, and the importance of habitat preservation to the survival of the species presented. We also discuss the evolutionary relationship between each of the four modern families of reptiles at a level appropriate for the audience. |
